* Practice Book: Pages 237-238- Make sure you know the definitions of area and perimeter. Tips for the first question: When you try to find the length of the unknown side, remember that the perimeter is 200 ft. They tell you that one side is 10 ft, so you know that the other side is also 10 ft. 10 + 10 = 20. Now, you need to find the length of the other side. Remember when we studied equations?
200= 10 + 10 + L + L. Subtract 20 from 200 and you get...
180= L+ L....... what are some ways to solve for this? Remember both Ls are the exact same number... You can do it!
